The materials, models, iconographies, maps, and geographies assembled in this exhibition encapsulate Barré and Lambot’s imagination. After two decades designing housing complexes, public buildings, and civic programs, patiently refining their uncompromising architecture, Barré and Lambot have finally broken into the world of major real estate projects.

What is an ordinary day? What is ordinary for you might not necessarily be ordinary for the next person. And what if behind the ordinary there was hidden another and extraordinary reality? The three photographers chosen by the A2Z Art Gallery present in this exhibition their interpretation and vision of the ordinary day.

American photographer David LaChapelle is returning to Galerie Daniel Templon with a striking exhibition centering on industrial landscapes. Known internationally for his thought-provoking images, LaChapelle’s newest series “Land Scape” uses hand-crafted scale models to explore the infrastructure of oil production and distribution.

Born in Arizona, Mike Brodie has roamed the American lands to offer brutal — from time to time shocking but always fascinating — images from four years of travelling, train after train, from one encounter to the next. Seeking anonymity in pseudonyms, the amateur is primarily known as the “Polaroid Kidd”, the teeny-tiny child of the small format.

Just like Bruce Chatwin used notebooks to depict an incredibly sensitive and human vision of a now bygone Australia, this other Anglo-Saxon globetrotter, Matt Wilson, creates through photographic wanderings ineffable images from the several countries through which he travels according to whim and chance encounters.

Peter Neuchs explores through his works the density of everyday life. The most insignificant scenes take on a spectacular dimension in his large-format photographs. His “stolen” snapshots made with a mobile phone seem to deliver enigmatic fragments of a story that is yet to be deciphered and his watercolors transform the banal in a suspenseful narration.
