A painter, drawer, and engraver, Hokusai produced thousands of works throughout his long life, the quality of which is matched only by its diversity. The work includes portraits of courtesans or kabuki actors, scenes of daily life, and greetings cards. The exhibition showcases the life and work of this extremely prolific artist.

‘Les rencontres du court métrage’ proposes a dialogue between cultures. The two documentaries have allowed their camera to meander through scenes of quotidian life in India and Nigeria. The everyday gives way to details which become a feast for both eyes and ears.
