Since the 1970s Jean-Pierre Formica has drawn his inspiration from Mediterranean culture. He works on bull fighting and mythological themes and by doing so also works on memory, traces, prints, accumulation and sedimentation. His approach finds its expression in paintings, drawings, wash drawings and also engravings.
